Although our packaging is widely accepted by nearly all local government recycling schemes, we know that approximately 40% of recyclable plastic still actually ends up in a landfill. This is why we chose to partner with TerraCycle to provide a guaranteed zero-landfill recycling programme for our customers in New Zealand and Australia.
Through the Jeuneora Recycling Programme, you can collect and ship all of your empty capsule pottles, powder pots, lids, scoops & sachets free-of-charge to TerraCycle, who will shred, wash, and melt them down into raw materials that can be used as an alternative to virgin plastic.

According to a study commissioned by the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), only a third of Australia's plastic packaging actually gets recycled. That's more than 600,000 tonnes of plastic packaging - out of 900,000 tonnes used - that is not getting recycled on an annual basis (source article).
Although Jeuneora’s packaging is currently accepted by nearly all district council recycling schemes, we wanted a guaranteed zero-landfill solution for our customers. This is why we choose to partner with TerraCycle.
TerraCycle is a social enterprise operating in 21 countries around the world with a goal to eliminate the idea of waste. They offer a range of closed-loop solutions meaning your waste will always live to see another day (instead of a landfill).
When Jeuneora packaging is sent to TerraCycle to be recycled, it’s turned into plastic pellets that are used to make things like outdoor furniture and children’s playgrounds. Plus for every shipment you send to TerraCycle, you'll earn $1 per kilogram of waste collected for your chosen school or not-for-profit organisation.Learn more
